Cheesesteaks
You can chose to go to the touristy places for the experience or go get a good cheesesteak.
The well-known tourist places are in the Italian Market down at 9th and Passyunk. Your options are Pat’s and Geno’s. We both prefer Pat’s.
But there are much better options for a good cheesesteak. Tony Luke’s and Jim’s are both good options. If you want a real Philly legend, then try the roast pork at John’s. And for you vegetarians, try the seitan cheesesteak at the Pope.
